Kumuyi to Buhari: Not Everyone Will Support You Publicly, But We’re Praying For You


Kumuyi gave the words of encouragement during his visit to the State House in Abuja, on Monday. The pastor, who was accompanied by his wife, Esther, thanked the president for receiving him, even on a busy day like October 1.’
President Muhammadu Buhari has said the visit to Aso Rock by the General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, was a morale booster.
“My morale is raised by your visit. I very much appreciate it,’’ he stated.The president noted that “God did not make a mistake when he created over 250 different ethnic groups and decided to put them in a place called Nigeria.’’He therefore urged Nigerians to appreciate God for bringing everyone together.
Buhari said he was “excited a great deal’’ for the cleric’s acceptance of government’s invitation to preach at the country’s 58th independence anniversary. Kumuyi told his host that he appreciates the government.
