Welcome to the big Screens! Apple launches iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max in Nigeria

Apple, the world’s leading smartphone maker, on Friday, launched iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max in Nigeria at the Villa Medici, Victoria Island, Lagos. Popularly referred to as ‘The Big Screens’, the iPhone Xs and Xs Max are Apple’s most recent products right after the iPhone X and iPhone 8 plus. It is a worthy upgrade to the iPhone X with a handful of remarkable improvements. Sivadoss Vijayakumar, Regional Head, West Africa Operations, Redington, spoke on the need for continued innovation and unique additions in creating devices that cater to the demands of users through applicative and emotive value. “It has been a commendable journey for Apple in Nigeria and last year, iPhone X was a game changer for us all. 3 dead as gunman storms Yoga studio and opens fire before killing himself

A gunman stormed a yoga studio and opened fire, killing two and wounding 5 others. He then committed suicide by turning the gun on himself. Scott Paul Beierle, 40, burst into the studio in Tallahassee, Florida, loaded his gun in front of people and opened fire. As he started to shoot, terrified class members began to bang on windows to warn others away from entering while one man was pistol-whipped as he tried to stop the attack. The murder-suicide at the studio, which is part of a small shopping centre, happened around 6pm local time on Friday. Dr. Nancy Van Vessem, 61, and Maura Binkley, 21, were named as the two people who sadly died and both had links to Florida State University. The conditions of the other victims are unclear. From the scene, Tallahassee City Commissioner Scott Maddox said: In my public service career I have had to be on some bad scenes. This is the worst. Please pray. A Germany based Nigerian man, Murphy Idahosa, was today November 3rd banished from Edo state over a video he posted on Facebook a while ago attacking the person of the Oba of Benin. In the video, Murphy was seen blaming the Oba of Benin for the high rate of trafficking among girls in the Benin kingdom. He returned home recently and was taken to the Oba's palace where he was declared an enemy of the Oba and then banished from the kingdom
